DECKS
My debut as a Producer for this short film was quite an adventure. From location hiccups to our lead actor falling ill on the eve of shooting due to COVID-19, we faced our share of challenges. Despite the curveballs, I'm proud to say we finished on time. I also flexed my creative muscles as the Director's right-hand, a role I'd honed while assisting him on previous projects.

EMMA
Drawing inspiration from a moment in "Fleabag," I directed this snippet for a class project. Kudos to my stellar cast for nailing their roles, and to my top-notch crew for crafting stunning visuals and set design. Weather conditions tried to throw us off during our semi-outdoor shoot, but we rallied and wrapped just in time.

SQUARE ROOT OF FOUR
When the Writer/Director shared the visual idea behind this script, I was instantly hooked. As the Production Designer, I brought the props-packed vision to life. It was a challenging but enjoyable process, and I even picked up a new skill - origami! My experience wrangling child actors for past commercials came in handy on set too.

BENEATH THE VOID
Wearing the hat of Chief Assistant Director, I navigated a whirlwind shoot. With a tight schedule and sunlight as our canvas, I hustled to keep things on track. We managed to capture a bounty of shots, providing the Director with ample material for editing.

THE FITTING
Back in action as the lone Assistant Director on this gig! I collaborated closely with the Director, stepping in as a creative problem-solver when needed. While I contributed to crafting the production design concept, an Art Director perfected it on set. Time worked in our favor, with natural light as our guiding force. Wrapping up ahead of schedule left the crew beaming!

THE BREAKFAST CLUB - REIMAGINED
Tasked with remixing a movie trailer, I transformed "The Breakfast Club" into a slasher flick for a fresh take. Adhering to the tight 1-minute limit proved as challenging as a jigsaw puzzle. While my 50-second draft was a standout, mastering the art of staying true to the brief was the key takeaway. Lessons learned, creativity unleashed!
